Mission

The mission of the Wyoming Physical Therapy Association is to be the principle membership organization that represents and promotes the physical therapy profession, and to meet the needs and interests of its members.

License Requirements
Wyoming licensed PTs and PTAs must complete 30 hours of continuing education during each two-year cycle in order to renew his or her license, with a minimum of 15 coming from Category A programs. Courses put on by or
approved by APTA Wyoming are considered Category A, see full list of Category A requirements.
This includes online/virtual programming.
Note: APTA WY is offering review and approval via CEU Locker to ensure your course meets Wyoming regulations.
Application Approvals and Course Management
Beginning April 2025, all CEU Providers (of courses) in Wyoming seeking APTA Wyoming approval will utilize our new CEU Locker system for making course approval applications, maintaining list of credits and submitting payments for all aspects of this process.

The CEU Locker system is a shared system for many Physical Therapy Components that provides a fast, convenient centralized location to get approvals in several states by completing and storing your paperwork requirements only one time.

Looking for APTA WY Approval Courses
Look for the seal on any CEU course you are considering attending. The seal certifies the course meets Wyoming requirements for licensure renewal.
